 For this writing task I created a report writing on the Olympics. The sport topic I choose was track running. Track running is, running 100 or more meters. It could be for girls and boys. Track running is a great sport in the Olympics. I watched a special video called 1 minute 1 sport. It told me a few about track running. Here is my report on Olympics.

 For this task we had to think of a word and three more words and put it all in one sentence. But the trick was we had to make three sentences with those four words. Here is what I came up with.

For this math task me and my buddy did a task from arbs. If you don’t know what arbs is, arbs is a site where you can learn and you can solve problems and many more. Supermarket Visit

 Today we visited the supermarket. The old famous PakinSave. Going there was a easy challenge. But coming back was a little difficult. We walked a hill nearly the hight of Mount Everest. Kaikōhau

Task description: 

Todays Te Reo Maori task was that, we created posters and we wroteour kaikohau in three or four different cultures. We had to do of course Te reo Maori and English and then we had a choice to choose another culture. The culture I went with was Tongan of course. Because I’m Tongan and I wanted to know what it will look and sound like if I wrote it in Tongan. If you don’t know what a kaikohau is, it is something to express about yourself and what you know in your culture and quotes. So yeah this is the task for today. Hope you enjoy !  Today’s special math task was in arbs. It told us to round to the nearest hundred and told us more to round  up. This was the special math task for this week.

For this task I had done a kiwi kids news quiz. I had to answer 10 questions and I got all of them right. Some of the questions were easy to answer.

Life Eduction Lessons/Reflection

 Today we had to write some reflections of the time we went to take lessons with Harold the giraffe and Whaea Nicole. What we learnt during the lessons is our feelings and our personality and also our actions. We also learnt that we have a mind hasseler and a mind hero. These lessons taught well in our doings.

Mood and Atmosphere Writing

 Today’s task for writing we had to create mood and atmosphere in our writing. We had to plan our writing on our first slide and then we add it all together. This task was really good and nice for my brain. This is the task for today’s writing task.

 For this task we all had to watch a video of the legendary story of Rat and the Octopus. We had to write in a doc of how we felt about the video and write down what mood it gives us. If you are wondering what the setting looks like it is a sunset in the Tonga ocean and it gives me a vibe mood because it is so beautiful to look at.  For my maths task we had three problems to solve. We had three subtraction problems and we had to solve them and explain how we solved it. This is what my math task was today.

 Today’s task was text analysis. For this text we had to insert photo and we had to make a mood about the photo and we had to show what modded it gives us. This was really interesting it was interesting because I was using my brain more than ever.  

PwC Financial Literacy Blog

 On a cold wet Wednesday morning a group of friends from a community named PwC which stands for Price WaterHouse Cooper. They came along and taught us about income. But of course firstly they introduced themselves to us and right there I knew we were going to have a amazing time with them. The first and mostly interest activity was a activity that included. Hoopla hoops, sag bags and fake money. How to play was you had to put your self to groups of three or more and you had to put down three hoopla hoops and money inside of it and you had to throw the sag bags you got into the hoops and how many money in the you threw the sag bag in you get for your income. 

Next activity we had to stay in our same groups and we were learning to spend our income when we receive it. This is how the game works for those who don’t know. Of course we stayed in the same teams and we had a sheet of paper which also had sections  to spend in it. This activity took us right up to morning tea.  After morning tea we one more activity. But this one was slightly different to the first two. 

This one you are still in your groups and this time you had to come up with a skit. It could be a good or mean bad one. It is about a borrower and a lender. After everything finished we all had a great time taking photos at the end.

 Today’s task was about things we could be. We had to choose from a doc with a lot of lines say if we could be anything. I choose to write about if I was king. This was a interesting experience writing and I will do my best each day.

My “ What If “ Writing

Task Description:

We had  to write about what if we got sucked into a movie. To be honest it was a challenge to focus and find some ideas but at the end I I did a great piece of writing. I really enjoyed writing this piece of writing because it gave me more words and I learnt how to do a great piece of writing. I forgot to mention we also had only 15 minutes and that is another reason why it was a challenge.

My extraordinary holiday

 My extraordinary holiday

During my holidays in April 2021, I went to an event. The event you may ask, is the Blues vs Chiefs rugby game. First off I was really thrilled and exhilarated to go. My legs were pumping and I was really hyped to go to the game. At that time I was having a sleepover at my cousin's house. My mum came over and asked me if I wanted to go to the game. I was really excited, so I packed and walked to our van. Walking to our van my mum asked my cousin that I was sleeping over with, if he wanted to come. To my surprise he said “sure”. We left and got changed. The thing I didn’t know was that my friends were coming too and the youth in my church was coming as well.

I was even more hyped because I knew I was going to have the best time of my holiday. But my dad came home and told me that my friend's dad was picking us up. I asked “why ain’t mum dropping us off” he said “ because she’s not going”. I was really sad but I had to go with the flow. 

Hoping into my friend's dad's car I saw that they were not there, so I asked him but he didn't say anything. Suddenly we drove into the drive thru to the train station. I was thinking we were going on a train, to get to the game. The game was at Eden Park. Everyone was here and we all waited for the train.

The train arrived and we all walked into it and took a seat. Driving there we all had a crack of jokes and we were all embarrassed by the people looking at us but we didn’t care. Finally after an hour we reached eden park. We were all excited but we had to stay cool. We walked into the stadium and the game started. The teams showed up and we all cheered loud as an elephant can trunk. 

The kickoff started and my feet lifted from the ground, everyone screaming and cheering for their supportive team. During the game tackle after tackle kick after kick, then they finally tried ! They tried and everyone from the stadium cheered and applauded the try scoring team. The game ended and we were all exhausted from being able to cheer loudly and to shout and support the team. We all walked exhaustedly to the train and left. We had pizza for dinner. After eating I have never been so full in my life. We dropped everyone off and came back home and slept for church.

I felt really delighted and pleasant to go.
